In league when you trap an opponent players and do 5 vs 1 the game rewards you. The game rewards lack of fair play and sneaky players.if we take Yugioh example, the game have 22000 cards and it remain still way more balanced than league. But Smash Ultimate have 100 character and is perfectly balanced. but this is not the case ! Leagues players always arg that it's impossible to balance the game because there are 150 characters. And all this would be ok, if for each advantage, the opposing character also had an abused advantage. Others have a range that is half the screen. Some characters can dash 5 times in a row while the dash is supposed to have a 160 second cooldown. some characters respect the laws of physics and others violate them completely. We can consider, that in league of legends. There is absolutely no balance in this game.What is the puprose of have so many possibilities if only one actually works ? Specially when you have so much possibility than you have in this game. but leagues players insist on always playing only one unique way, and this is the opposite of a good game. There is ton of availables characters, combinations, items, and 3 lanes. in league of legends, this is not possible. in good games, even close to lose, if you play at your maximum level of skill you are able to comeback and actually win, while the game seemed lost. And league is the only game where it works like that. playing better than him will not allow you to kill him or resist him better. if a champion oneshots you, the only thing you can do is avoid them for the rest of the game. if you were run over at the start of the game, it will be even worse for the next 40 minutes. So it's not, fun for many, but fun at the expense of others. and this mean that they have absolutely no fun, during 40 min. but when you are able to do that, generally the opponent team is being destroyed. Fun only for some people : in league you have fun, when you make a lot of kills.Short Answer : The gameplay design itself is bad. And then it creates more frustration if theyre not good or stopping a team from winning, like if the jungler just isnt trying to get objectives or gank lanes. It also requires you to work with teammates on a deep level, which is garbage and breeds toxicity in and of itself because then you have more people trying to micromanage others and be hyper aware of what theyre doing. That long wait time and slow gameplay, especially wait timers on KO allows people to type, sit there, be hyper critical, angry, overly aware, blaming, mean, etc and act absurdly toxic. Combine that with long game times, where if youre losing and its taking awhile youre just going to suffer.

Its like a double edged sword where one side is sorta kinda sharp, maybe even a bit dull and the other is super super sharp. The game is ass and poorly designed garbage.
